hello world. long time no post.

mostly due to laziness more than anything else.

another academic year has come to an end, and I suppose its time to take stock and see what we have gained and lost.

I have to say this year, being in the so called next level of education, didn't really seem different. After all, it's still in the same compound, same teachers, same...a lot of things. The addition of the opposite gender into the environment hasn't really had much of an effect. On me at least. Perhaps thats due to being in a class of 24 with only 3 girls. Of course, one of the biggest (relatively) changes is that there are no more gep classes. Not that I liked having segregated gep classes, but after 7 years with the same kind of people, a little change is quite refreshing. Got to know many interesting people as well. Hah.

Academically, I have to say it doesn't feel any different from any other year. Though there's added pressure with the physics and chem pracs now due to the fact that they're all graded. But i don't think that has changed the quality of my pracs. they still suck quite bad.

Of course, there was that period this year around the june hols where I started feeling rather strange and all. Look back in the archives if you want to figure that out. But it put things in perspective for me, and made me far more grateful for what God has blessed me with.
