"And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." - Job 1:21

Anyway, church camp has been great. Learnt and grew much closer to God and talked a lot more to the older youths =)

IAN has said almost everything i wanted to say about the camp already. I'd just like to add smth that he missed out. On the very last night, a bunch of us stayed up through the night, doing all sorts of things, such as (taken from ian's blog) "And games aside, we stayed up the last night, and played this.. game.. which involved people sitting on blankets and moving their butts back and forth to get navigate across the room."

That morning, we went to watch the sunrise. John was sitting on some steps facing east with us waiting for the sun to rise. He was carrying a pillow from our room...i dunno why. Then he lay down, and fell into a deep sleep probably due to exhaustion (we stayed up the whole night, din sleep at all). And he lay on the concrete floor, hugging a pillow, eyes open a bit. well, we started crowding around him and staring and laughing, but he still lay there asleep. for almost one hour. Throughout that hour, first we left him there and walked a distance away, but keeping our eyes on him. Its rather funny to see one guy lying on the floor hugging a pillow and not moving. Needless to say, we took lots of photos =P We even had prayer meeting 'with' him, as we and a lot of other people who came down sat in a circle 'with' him. it was rather amusing.

anyway, as ian said, there was far more to this camp than all the silly stuff, but like him, i don't really feel like putting the deeper stuff on the net. yeah.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)
