(added smth down there)
today was a good day
for one, bongard did not catch me when he passed by our class even though i have quite long hair. i hope no one does tmr though. then i shall cut on sunday before the parade on monday. hooah.
then, cross country got cancelled due to the weather and we all got dismissed early. by 2 hours and 40 mins =D the entire SAC erupted in loud cheers when the announcement was heard...that was super cool.
had a nice lunch at PIZZA HUT. it was rather interesting watching waasley getting aggrevated and going into spasmodic fits at times due to a lot of things. namely ian lin's slow eating. i got a whole load of photos of him doing that on my lousy low resolution hp cam. i think i can make a comic strip. maybe i'll do that over the national day weekend =D
then. highlight of the day.
ian and i had the great honor to watch wesley's bowl hair getting cut. over the past few weeks, he has been saying that he'd look much better once his hair is cut. but then again, as usual, he was proven wrong today. he now has a smaller piece of crockery on his head. smth like a plate...or doggy dish. looks a bit better but not much. a bit only. it was rather amusing watching him getting his bowl hair cut...and laughing at him while all he did was stare at us through the mirror and giving us strange looks.
you all remember the 'there is no spoon' line from the matrix?
*ian lin holds up his fork, and gives that faux philosophical look*
"there is no spoon" - ian lin
"of course there isn't. that is a fork you moron" - wesley
during the haircut, wesley was holding a chunk of his hair that got cut...
"what were you holding your hair for?" - ian lin
"i was going to throw it at both your faces until the indian barber told me to put it down" - wesley to me and ian.
"eat bowl!" - wesley
EDIT:
lol. this was from shivana's blog...its super hilarious and knowing Gan, its prolly true
"This week Gan displayed his true colours. Gan as in Gan Kok Kiong, as in my math teacher. Gan btw, has this distinct way of pronouncing maths. Today in class we discussed it and came to the conclusion, it would have to be spelled “Mechks.” It’s a combination of the H and K sounds instead of TH so it’s “Mechks”. Let me now publish some of Gan’s quotes:
“You don’t need to think to do Mechks what.” – Sometime during class
“This has nothing to do with Mechks.” – Gan referring to the solution for a Rubik’s Cube
Then there was this conversation with him that Sam had when the guy from NUS Engineering came to our sch.
Sam: Sir, did you do Engineering in University?
Gan: No, I did Mechks.
Sam: Why?
Gan: Cause I wanted the fastest and easiest.
Sam: How long is Engineering?
Gan: Engineering is 4 year. Mechks is 3 year.
Sam: Maths is easy meh?
Gan: Easy to me what.
Gan was/is a super slacker. He previously confessed to us that in Uni he didn’t study. His theory was:
“If 80% of the class fail, it doesn’t show that the students are stupid, it shows that the lecturer is stupid. So the lecturer will make sure 80% pass. So you just study a bit can get A already.”
Then he said the only thing he failed was Human Resource Management or something like that. His excuse was:
“That one need to study. I didn’t know need to study. So I fail. You must use this guy’s model, then apply to this situation. So if you don’t know what he’s talking about, you can’t do it. I didn’t spend much time in Uni studying.”" - shivana's blog
that is all. i shall depart
